Your Keys to The Weekend: a CRP Guide.

03/22/2018

Weekends are precious, Y’all. Our team works hard, and we like to play hard as well. Living in Charleston gives us plenty of weekend options, and this week we want to share a few favorites with you. We are almost to Friday, friends. In the meantime, enjoy our day-by-day guide to enjoying Charleston this weekend.

Friday:

Oh Shucks. Enjoy half off the oyster of the day at The Granary from 5-7pm, and kick off the weekend on a tasty, budget-friendly note.

Tune in. Local band The High Divers are celebrating the release of their most recent album, Chicora, at the Music Farm. The show starts at 9pm, and is open to all ages. Snag your ticket here.

Saturday:

Find a great local catch at the Mount Pleasant Fish Market. Head to 645 Coleman Boulevard from 8 am until noon to enjoy some of Charleston’s best local seafood.

Celebrate 5 years of Froth with Frothy Beard Brewery from 11 am-11 pm. The brewery will be featuring food and drink specials, live music, and local vendors for an anniversary party that you don’t want to miss.

Get a taste of The Daily‘s resident chef, David Schuttenberg from 6 pm to midnight. Brace yourself for a fresh take on Sichuan called Kwei Fei. Think spicy flavors balanced with other elements, crafted from carefully selected ingredients. We can’t wait to get a seat at the table.

Sunday:

Head North for the Celadon Flea and Farmers Market from 10 am- 2 pm. This Sunday will be the first market of the year, and will feature a host of local vendors, makers, artisans, and farmers. Still, need a reason to go? Food trucks, coffee, and live music will round out the experience.

Holy City pups are all invited to the Pet Fest at the Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park from 11 am – 5 pm for a day of play, owner education, and adoption for those who want to add a fur baby to the family!

Enjoy your weekend, Charleston! Don’t forget to tag your photos with #KeyToCHS on social media so we can see how you are loving life in the Lowcountry.
